Alumasc Apex Cast Iron Rectangular Large Rainwater Hopper Head

Measuring 305 x 250 x 200mm, this large rectangular hopper provides a generous collection point for rainwater entering from gutters, roof outlets or other drainage points. It is supplied with a 100 x 75mm (4" x 3") outlet, allowing it to connect into a corresponding rectangular cast iron downpipe system.

Manufactured as part of the Alumasc Apex Heritage cast iron rainwater range, the hopper has the characteristic texture and weight you would expect from an authentic cast iron fitting. Its simple rectangular shape also makes it a good choice where you want the rainwater goods to sit comfortably against traditional architecture without using an overly decorative hopper design.

This hopper can be ordered in a choice of six standard Alumasc cast iron RAL colours, making it easier to coordinate the hopper head with the rest of your guttering, downpipes and external detailing.

• RAL 3009m – Oxide Red
• RAL 9016m – White
• RAL 8015m – Chestnut Brown

Black remains the most traditional choice for many period properties, while Anthracite Grey can give the system a slightly cleaner appearance. Moss Green, Oxide Red and Chestnut Brown can work particularly well on heritage buildings where the rainwater goods are intended to complement existing architectural colours.

Because these coloured hopper heads are made to order, the finish is selected specifically for your order rather than taken from standard stock.
